How to Join the Team
All applications must be submitted through the NRMP which is coordinated by the American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH). Please visit the ASSH website to learn more. Eligible candidates must have a US citizenship, be board certified or board eligible, and have completed, or be currently training, in an ACGME accredited orthopaedic or plastic surgery residency.
Applications for fellowship can be submitted through the ASSH by completing the universal online application and submitting the following required documents:

One page personal statement to include why you are interested in training at Orlando Health

Three letters of recommendation on official letterheads, one of which should be from the current residency chairman or program director

May 2025 RANK ORDER SUBMISSION & MATCH DAY
* Interview format: These will be in-person interviews for our 2 fellowship spots this cycle. Social event the night before the interview to meet the team if you can make it!

Application opens up on the ASSH Fellowship website
Applications Due at Orlando Health
November 15th
Applications will be reviewed by the hand faculty and invitations sent out for interview dates by Dec 15th.
NRMP Match Released
May (commonly 3rd Wednesday)
Match results are released by the NRMP. Congratulations!
Interview Dates
February and March
Selected applicants will be invited for an interview along with a social event the evening before the interview.
